The institution
Bharatsaga is a mission-driven, India-first think tank and public-interest institution being developed around research, awareness, strategic dialogue, and later-stage funding of high-impact work.
Its subject areas include geopolitics, nation-building, artificial intelligence, scientific pursuits, culture, economy, business, governance, youth, and civilizational studies.
The positioning challenge
The institution must speak to young citizens, professionals, scholars, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and researchers without becoming a partisan political page, a motivational brand, or a casual news account.
The work therefore centres on building institutional credibility from the beginning: disciplined research, serious editorial standards, a recognizable visual system, clear governance, and a digital platform designed for long-term knowledge production.
What Rokad is developing
- Institutional positioning and narrative architecture.
- A monochrome, editorial visual identity rooted in Indian context without decorative excess.
- A repeatable publication and social-content system.
- Research, article, report, author, topic, and archive structures.
- A modern organisational and editorial website.
- Authentication, publishing, storage, and administrative workflows.
- Future foundations for strategic dialogue, programmes, partnerships, and funding.
Design system
Bharatsaga uses a restrained editorial language built around black, ivory, graphite, strong typography, minimal data graphics, and a consistent institutional signature. The identity is designed to feel culturally rooted and future-oriented while remaining non-partisan and internationally credible.
Technology direction
The platform is being designed around TanStack, Cloudflare Workers, and Supabase for database, authentication, and storage. The architecture supports a public editorial site, structured institutional content, internal publishing workflows, and future programme expansion.
Current stage
Bharatsaga is in active institution, identity, content-system, and platform development. Its early work is focused on establishing a credible foundation before scaling publication volume, partnerships, and public programmes.
